Children and staff have come together to make a difference this festive season by supporting the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal run by Samaritan’s Purse UK.
Thanks to generous donations from families and the school community, pupils filled 36 shoeboxes with gifts for children in need across the globe. Each box was packed with toys, personal care items, school supplies, and fun surprises to bring joy to those who might otherwise go without.
Rebecca Richens, a member of the school team, commented:
“Families created their own boxes of gifts, and we even worked in our classes to create more boxes in school. “In total, our community created over 36 boxes, which is a tremendous achievement. Our worship leaders then delivered the boxes to Specsavers in Melksham, the local drop-off point. Donating these boxes is one of the ways we are ‘letting our light shine’ during this festive season.”
This incredible effort reflects the school’s commitment to kindness and community spirit, ensuring that children around the world feel the warmth of Christmas.
